Christmas Crib Blessing

A short outdoor gathering, at the start of the Christmas season, to mark the arrival of the annual community Christmas Cribs. Carols, reading and reflection.

There are three matching cribs, one in Aston (at ‘Aston Church corner’, at the corner of Worksop Road/Church Lane, just near the entrance to Aston Hall Hotel & All Saints C of E Church), one in Aughton (close to the junction of Aughton Road with West Lane), and one in Swallownest (at the mini-roundabout junction of Worksop Road and Mansfield Road).

This year we gather at the ‘Aston Church corner’ crib. Refreshments served at All Saints C of E Church afterwards.
